The First Photoshoot - Part 2

Arriving on time, I was met by the photographer himself and ushered down to the basement studio where I met Jodie in person for the first time.
In order to make the best use of my time it was straight off with shirt and the make-over was underway. Jodie explained that to ensure the studio lights didn't bleach out my face, she would be applying a darker foundation than I would wear if I was actually going out. The whole process was fascinating - I really love having someone make me up.
Care was needed around the mole I had cut while shaving but a liberal application of powder staunched the bleeding! Next it was into the underwear, including the corset - Jodie's has the longest ties I have ever seen. She explained that it had been especially made to enable her to use it with clients of all sizes. A strapless bra was used with the Martine Rose breasts - these are basically really tough balloons filled with a paste/gel to give the correct weight. My face must have registered some disappointment as I had expected Silicon boobs but Jodie said her's were out on loan. Still, as Jodie said, today was all about how I looked and these boobs actually look great in the right bra and under the right clothes and they are very reasonably priced I believe.

I had always wondered what it would be like to have lovely long nails and luckily Jodie had a set of false nails with her (I should have asked in advance really) though not the fixing tape - we used some normal double sided tape which was OK but the nails did have a tendency to spring off - still they looked OK and on the pictures they look even better.
The biggest problem we faced was my hairy legs. Even with a pair of dance tights on first, the dark hairs still showed through the black stockings worn over them. Luckily, Jodie had a pair of white stockings from a previous days wedding shoot. With the white stockings on before the black, the results were much better, especially at the distance the camera would be at most of the time.
I had asked that we try 3-4 looks in the session, a tall order but I wanted to try to find Wendy's look.
We started with what I had termed day wear. We chose a pink top, a nice skirt (not too short) and some nice comfortable high-heeled sandals (the best shoes I've every worn by the way). The we chose a long blond wig that went nicely with the pink. After dressing and fitting of the wig it was time to face the camera.

I admit I was terrified - I just didn't know what to do. My first shot shows this clearly - the look of terror, the rigid stance. See the Out-Takes Gallery
The Pink OutfitHowever, Jodie and the photographer are experts at what they do and they soon calmed me down. We took a few more shots and it became apparent that for me broad smiles are out - they accentuate my laughter lines and lengthen my chin. I wish now that I had spent time before hand practicing facial expressions so I could choose the most flattering one. Still the results show that we found them in the end and the last few shots show really relaxed, gentle smiles that I think bring out the best in me (the home page shot is one of those).

The Cocktail DressHaving taken quite a few in the pink we moved onto the next out fit - the cocktail dress. This was a lovely dress but it was in fact too small for me across the back. But since I only had to wear it for pictures, this didn't matter - we simply tucked the back into the corset to hold things in place. Jodie used some blusher and bronzing powder to accentuate my collar bone and suggest a cleavage and then we were all set. Again I wish I had practiced my standing poses as some of these are a bit stiff but we got some shots I like, especially the one of me looking over my shoulder and these shots really justified all that shaving.

The Black top and Leather SkirtThe next look I had asked for was 'clubby'. The nails were starting to become a hinderance to quick changes and the shooting schedule so for the next outfit we ditched them in favour of opera gloves. This also helped disguise the fact that the top I chose was a little too short in the arms for me. The leather skirt looked and felt great but was a slightly tight fit over the corset, something I regretted later when viewing the standing pictures as there is a pronounced bulge at the front which, I assure you, is the corset showing through and not some part of my anatomy which was in fact tucked well back out of sight throughout. We also decided that a change of wig was in order to add some colour to my all black outfit. This top really set off the boobs well I though giving a very pleasing shape.

I experimented with a few different poses this time (some more successful than others) and then we rounded thing off with some portraits, switching back to the blond wig to wrap them up.
BrunetteBlondeWhilst the film was being rushed to a nearby developers, I changed and then got down to the business of removing the makeup. Jodie uses theatrical make up so removal is simple a matter of rubbing in a good handful of baby lotion to loosen things, then using a towel that's half wet and half dry to wipe everything off. A quick visit upstairs to the gents to clean my teeth an check in daylight that all signs were gone and then back down to wait for the pictures.

While we waited I had a lovely long chat to Jodie about her business and she showed me her portfolio of other clients pictures and also about the Boudoir dressing service. She also introduced me to the Tranny guide, a book I had heard of but never see but which I was very impressed with - I have since bought the 2000 edition from Jodie.
The pictures arrived and it was time for the moment of truth - and they were great! OK so some of my poses need work but I was just so happy with the results. Thanking Jodie and the photographer profusely, it was time to head back to Cambridge but I knew one thing - I would definitely be seeing Jodie again ..............
