| After the great day I had at the Boudoir, I had now had the confidence to believe that I could look good enough to be seen out, at least at a Tranny friendly place like the WayOut Club. | ||
| I decided that to look my very best I had to go one step further that ever before - the leg hair had to go! I chose an all over waxing as the best way to achieve this, especially given my past record of nicks and cuts when shaving . | ||
| I arranged a date for my outing with Jodie (16th September 2000) and then found a beautician to do the waxing via the Tranny Guide 2000 and then booked the waxing two days beforehand to give my body time to recover. | ||
| Those of you in the UK will realise that my weekend out corresponded with the big fuel blockades so I had a very tense week wondering if I was still going to be able to proceed. I managed to save enough fuel to keep my waxing appointment and it's just as well as I left the recovery time as, although far less painful than one imagines, my skin was still pretty tingly until the Saturday. But what an effect - silky smooth legs and arms ! Luckily I managed to fill up on the Friday morning so I was all set for Saturday. | ||
| Saturday morning and I drove into town to check in to my hotel, then checked in with Jodie. The poor girl had picked up a chest infection and couldn't take me after all but fortunately, she had been able to arrange for her friend Pandora De Pledge, an expert make-up artist and hair dresser, to take over from her. I contacted Pandora and she asked if I could come to her place rather than the Boudoir since she had another client before hand and fuel was tight. No problem - I caught a train & a cab and arrived at Pandora's fashionably late. | ||
Luckily,
I already had a clear idea of the sort of outfit I wanted to wear,
having seen it on my last Boudoir visit so Jodie had been able to drop
it off at Pandora's. Having gone to the trouble of waxing my arms and
legs I wanted a really short, sleeveless dress with a bit of sparkle. I
had bought my own black B-cup light control body from Debenhams so that
I wouldn't need a waist nipper and also because I thought it would keep
my boobs in a realistic position. I also had bought some lovely satiny
15 denier tights from Sock Shop. However, knowing I tend to feel the
cold I also wanted a light coat to wear and I remembered a lovely bright
red one that fitted the bill. I knew I couldn't cope well enough with
stilettoes but I wanted to wear heels, so I asked for some wedge heeled
sandals. A good choice as it turned out as they were very comfortable. |
||
| I had my pics from the Boudoir with me so Pandora had a chance to see what hair styles might suit me. We both agreed I looked nice in a dark wig with the hair up so that's the style we went for, after the magic of the makeup was applied of course. If you look closely or click on the pic for a bigger version, you'll see I'm wearing my new glasses and watch, both of which I bought especially for the occasion. Pandora was careful to make the eye makeup complement the glasses without making my eyes appear too dark. | ||
| Pandora's other client, Jessica, was a little late so she actually had her makeup done after me. I also discovered that we would be joined by another Tranny, the lovely Alison (see group shot later). | ||

Once we were all set, it was time to go down to the car. Much to my surprise I felt no fear at all - it seemed the most natural thing in the world to be going out dressed as I was and I found myself stepping out with confidence. After an exciting drive, we arrived at the club around midnight. I got Pandora to take a couple of snaps outside, just to prove to myself I had really been outside dressed. Then it was into the club. |

|
As someone who never goes to clubs when not en femme I was pleased
to find that the club is an intimate venue rather than a huge club.
And what an experience to be mixing with so many glamorous girls.

Since I was planning a trip to Plymouth the next day (see a stay at Sophie's coming soon to the diary and the galleries), we left at 3am to drive back to Pandora's and after a couple of snaps of me without the dress (see Favourites Gallery) it was time to, reluctantly, change back into drab and get back to my hotel. I can honestly say that I had a great evening and it's an experience I long to have again - my problem now is to think up another convincing reason for an overnight stay in London! |
