Ally's House Warming and BJ's Birthday

On 20th October 2001 I was invited to Ally's house warming Fancy Dress party. By coincidence it was also BJ's birthday celebration at Stormes that night. Luckily Ally lives within 20 minutes of Stormes so I decided I would be able to attend both events if I chose my outfit carefully ! Ally had warned me that we would be the only t-girls there and few of the guests would know that.
Ally I drove down to Ally's in drab Saturday afternoon so I could help with the preparations for the party. At about 6:30, we started to get ourselves ready. Ally had bought an impressive red and black full length gown with huge sleeves to match her 'female vampire' cover story. She deliberately overdid her makeup to suit.

I had planned to do 'Faith' from Buffy the vampire slayer but Ally wanted me to be a bit more femme than that so instead I wore my new black boots, black fishnet stockings and suspenders, black panties and bra, black leatherette skirt, black corset (borrowed from Ally) and black chiffon blouse. The cover story was I was doing a 'Rocky Horror' look but I couldn't bring myself to overdo the makeup to that degree - I did use the very lightest foundation that I have though.

In the end only Ally and I were cross dressed but the fact of the matter is I felt totally comfortable with that. The only weird bit was that I couldn't ask them to call me Wendy :-) One of the neighbours asked me where I got my foundation and later on I had a nice chat with some girls about wearing stockings and suspenders and the merits of high heels. Half way through the evening I had to get out of the corset - it was making it too hard for me to sit down! The neighbours mainly didn't dress up but some of the friends did - we had a Zombie, a Cat Woman, a skeleton, a witch, a mad doctor and a red devil.

By 11pm it was time for me to make a move so I went upstairs and changed my boots for my driving shoes and the blouse for a short sleeved black one that would attract a little less attention when I walked to my car. I said my good byes, carried my stuff to my car and set off for the club. The journey should have taken 20mins but I got a little confused so eventually made it there by 11:45. I found a parking space in the main road 150 yards from the club. Andrea was on the door to greet me as usual, and just inside BJ and the girls. I popped into the ladies to re-touch my makeup and put my boots back on. Then it was time to socialize!

Tina,Claire,Me,SerenaDespite my late arrival there were plenty of people to meet up with and chat with. BJ and Marg of course. Tina, Claire (who I hadn't been introduced to before but who I think I had seen about), Serena and Gayle (down from Scotland) who had a lovely portfolio of new pictures to show us.
Zoey-Klaire and BJ Denise and Pauline who I had met at the Folkestone do the other week had come especially for BJ's birthday. I also saw Leah (fresh from victory at the Alternative Miss London) and Sue plus Zoey-Klaire and her girlfriend Kate. Kim Angel was there sporting her new wigless look - she has spent 18 month growing her hair and it was clearly worth the effort.
Tina,Claire,Me,SerenaTo my surprise Emma Louise, who I had been trying to arrange to meet up with for ages, was there promoting her new hair removal service with her friend Samantha. She had sent me a mail to say she would be there but I had been having mail probs and had lost it. Also Tina, who I met at Pink Punters, was there on her first night at Stormes with her friend Jenny.

Me and BJI had a lot of chats and lot's of dancing - the stiletto heeled boots proved to be better to dance in than perhaps any other shoes I have ! And of course we took a few pictures too :-) I stayed till closing time (2am) and decided to keep my boots on to walk back to the car. Strutting along I felt weirdly confident - this was right - this was what I should be doing :-) Once in my car I swapped boots for flats again and then set off for home, a 100 minute drive. I had resolved to stay as Wendy as long as possible so it was only when I was 13 miles from home that I pulled into a quiet lay-by to change.

I slipped the skirt off and pulled on some stretch trousers, took off wig and jewellery, removed my boobs from the bra cups and cleaned off my makeup. Figuring that no-one was likely to see me arrive home at 4am anyway I felt that was all I needed to do, so I completed the journey home. As I predicted, there was no one around and I was able to unload the car behind the safety of our 6 foot gates. My folks were in bed so I just stripped off my clothes, removed the eye makeup that I had missed and went to bed.

Next morning, as usual, I took Mum and dad a cup of tea in bed and told them all about the evening, especially how much I had enjoyed myself. The only thing I didn't mention was how I was dressed. Later on, Mum pointed out that I hadn't said what I wore so I told her. She then asked me if I had felt nervous walking to my car from the flat and later to the club dressed that way. I reassured her pointing out that I had been careful, especially as regards the club where I had chosen a well lit parking place within site of the club. Later still, I had just downloaded the pictures from Saturday night and she had come upstairs so I offered to show her them so she could see the Halloween outfits. I was very pleased when she said yes.

I showed her the pictures at the party and at the club, including of course the pictures of me. So Mum has finally seen Wendy (though she still hasn't heard that name yet). And what was her reaction ? She couldn't get over how much I looked like her when she was young. To balance the rather outrageous outfit I wore I also showed her this picture of me in a suit. I felt I had to ask for any other thoughts. She re-iterated that what she wishes is that I could go out as a guy and have the same amount of fun and meet a girl too. I did point out that quite a few of the girls I know have nice partners and some of them met them when dressed. But I can understand her reaction. Still the good news is it wasn't a reaction of horror. I kind of wish Dad had seen them too but I wasn't about to yell down the stairs to ask him :-) Anyway, we shall see how things develop now.
