| Siobhan and I had been talking for some time by Email about meeting up on a night out with Jodie. By a very happy chance the night we had chosen was also the night of the Angelic party. As Jodie was already so busy that night we arranged to go to Pandora's for our makeover, which made sense as we had already arranged to stay over with her anyway. Arriving at around 2:40 on Saturday afternoon, I found Pandora was already working on her first makeover of the evening (she had five full makeovers to do plus a partial and, of course, herself). | ||
| I unpacked and hung up my outfit to let the creases fall out. Siobhan and I then popped to the Boudoir to pick up her stuff and some boobs and a coat for me for the evening. I had already bought a new handbag (my first) and a watch (my second) that I thought went well with the outfit that I planned to wear. | ||
| When we arrived at the Boudoir, Jodie was on to her second makeover for the day and her Mum was acting as door lady! It was here I got my first surprise of the day - I already knew that Siobhan planned to wear here blue cheongsam dress but what I didn't know is that she had bought me one in red! I must say I was very surprised as I have always wanted a dress just like this. We gathered Siobhan's stuff together and chose a coat for me (one of Siobhan's as it happened - black leather-look double breasted). Then it was back to Pandora's. | ||
| By now she was on to makeover number three with Rob (her boyfriend) doing the foundation on the next girl to help speed things along, as well as acting as host to the the growing band of girls. I had a chance to chat a little with a few of them while I was waiting for my turn in the chair. Interestingly this was the first night out dressed for two of them and it was Siobhan's first proper night out too. | ||
| Rob did my foundation and then Pandora
worked her magic and 30 mins later , Wendy was looking back at me from
Pandora's mirror. I went back upstairs to get dressed. By now I had convinced myself that I just had to wear my new dress. Luckily I had bought a selection of tights with me - black wouldn't have suited this dress but I had some sock-shop ones that were a better colour match (30 denier unfortunately). Ironically my new silver watch wouldn't match so I had to fall back to my original gold one. Then it was downstairs to where the others were having nibbles before the off. |
||
Andrea,
aka Angel Snapper, was there with her digital camera and took lots of
snaps of me and the other girls - Siobhan, Michelle, Emma and Angela (a
real girl and Emma's girl friend). The girls were very complimentary
regarding my look which was pleasing. Rob also kindly took a few of me
and the girls using my disposable camera. |
||
Pandora
had gotten herself ready by now so we were all ready for the limo. When
it arrived we all trotted off down the road and clambered in. I grabbed
a quick snap of Andrea then we were off. Whilst the other girls had a
fine time, the next 40 mins were for me I'm afraid my least favourite
part of the evening. The problem was my motion sickness, which hasn't
troubled me for ages, really struck with a vengeance and left me
nauseous for the entire journey. Instead of an elegant smiling departure
from the limo on arrival at the club it was more a desperate scrabble to
get some air for me I'm afraid.Still Andrea insisted on taking my picture then too - those who have been to her site will have seen it. |
||
| Into the club and on the door to greet us was Kim Angel herself. In addition to a raffle ticket, we were each presented with a handbag from a choice of two styles - trendy day wear or traditional (which is what I chose). Each bag also contained a wig care kit. | ||

| Off to the cloak room to check our coats (and new bags) and then it was into the club proper. We were among the first 40 to arrive so things were not too crowded to start with. On the left as we went in there were two bar areas, one with a hard wood floor, the other carpeted, and leading on from the carpeted room a lounge area and another similar lounge area separated from the first by a corridor. At the far end of this area was where the girls were preparing for the fashion show. To the right as we entered was the dance floor/disco area. | ||
As
I was still feeling woozy I grabbed a seat in the first lounge area and
was joined by Emma and Angela who had shown a touching concern for me
throughout the trip. Indeed Emma had given me a number of tricks to try
and help supress the symptoms. They stayed with me until I began to feel a bit better. I then decided to hook up with Siobhan who has an enviable ability to introduce herself to all and anyone and strike up a conversation, something I find difficult. |
||
Via
Siobhan, I was introduced to Jill and Kirsty who was one of the girls on
her first night out with Jodie. We had an enjoyable chat about our
choice of outfit for the night, personal circumstances etc. I was then
introduced to Nicola (who would later take part in the fashion show) and
we had a chat too. I also spent some time with Michelle and via her met
Gillian who introduced us to a married couple (who's names I'm afraid
escape me). I spotted a number of familiar faces (Vicki Lee, Janet
Scott, Joanna N) but my shyness stopped me from introducing myself I'm
afraid. I managed a brief chat with Jodie too. Of course throughout the
evening I took the opportunity to check out all the other girls - their
look, their wigs/outfits. There was a truly broad spectrum - all ages,
all styles. I can remember only one man in the place though there were a
few GG partners and friends of Trannies. This made it an ideal night out
for the first timer as there was no pressure from admirers. |
||
| The fashion show was a nice idea but the
shape of the club didn't really draw the attention towards it in the way
it should have - it really needed a proper stage or catwalk to make it
work . Still, Emma from our car had been invited to join in by some
friends in the show so she modelled a couple of outfits! After the fashion show was the raffle. I didn't win anything but Siobhan won a prize - a makeover with Pandora! There were also presentations to the various angels who had helped out behind the scenes to make the event come together - Jodie got a bouquet for her work on the girls. |
||
| I made another round looking for more folk to chat to and then went and had a look at the disco. Eventually I found my self tentatively bopping along on the edge of the dance floor. A couple of the girls were really going for it and I wished I had their confidence. | ||
| By about 1.30am the long day was beginning to tell on me at least, so I decided to see how the other girls felt (five of us had to go back to Pandora's - four of them staying over). Pan was clearly ready to make a move and eventually the rest were rounded up, including Jodie's bunch. Andrea attempted to get a mini cab but they said it would be an hour wait so it was decided we would hail a black cab instead. We were told we'd find some 'round the corner' so off we traipsed, 8 Trannies plus Jodie and Pan only to find a solitary minicab that would take only three of us and an hour wait for another. | ||
| An agonizing five minutes ensued whilst we
tried to decide what to do before Andrea charged back to the main road
and flagged down a black cab. As Michelle, Pandora, Julia, Siobhan and I
got in, Andrea snagged another black cab for the rest of the crew and we
were off. My tummy was still a a little sensitive but, all in all, the journey back was a much better (despite the driver not knowing the way and Pan's stream of acid comments from the back about that - apparently by her standards she was quite restrained) but I vowed next time to take some travel sickness pills! |
||
Arriving
back at Pan's we settled down for a little quiet reflection. It was
clear that Michelle and Siobhan had really enjoyed their first night
out. For myself, I had a mixed evening of dodgy journeys but nice chats
(and compliments) - in fact I'm looking on things a lot more kindly now
than I did at the time. Julia said she would have preferred a little
more liveliness - perhaps a cabaret of some sort - but had still had a
good evening. While we were talking, Andrea arrived to pick up her stuff
and her car. |
||
We
spent a little time chatting about shopping, especially Julia's
excellent buy of a sequined dress for £30 reduced from over
£200. We then said goodbye to Andrea - she has a really great
attitude to dressing.With Siobhan and Michelle both having early starts and me starting to nod off we retired to our rooms. Pan said it was OK to leave our makeup on till the morning and, despite a feeling it wouldn't do my skin much good, I was so tired I accepted the opportunity and turned in (having evicted her two cat's from my room). |
||
| Next morning I was surprised to find that
only the eyes had started to smudge - if it weren't for my beard poking
through I could almost have touched it up and been off out again!
Anyway, I washed it all off, packed my stuff, got dressed and leaving a
note for Pan, let myself out so as not to wake her. I had to leave the
new dress behind as I couldn't think where I could store it but I did
take the new bag with me. After 20 minutes spent starting my car (damp in the distributor) I was finally able to get underway. Arriving home I managed to slip my bulging bag past my Mum and up to my room and swiftly return everything to it's hiding place. |
||
| Now all I had to do was stay awake for my nieces birthday party ...................... | ||
