I
had purchased a sarong and suitable beach mules to go with my swimsuit
purchased in Blackpool. So after a short rest, I switched my red wig for
the brown one (or as it will henceforth be known my "bathing wig"),
dressed in the costume, sarong and mules (very comfortable by the way -
used them as slippers for the whole weekend) and headed over to the pool
which stands apart from the hotel within it's own conservatory type
building. Jackie, Debbie, Dawn (in guy mode), Ashleigh and Mike were all
there together with a few other girls, either swimming in the pool or in
the Jacuzzi. Sarah joined us shortly afterwards. I had only ever
intended to sit on one of the poolside deckchairs and pose a little (!)
but Jackie was very keen that I joined in. I made the excuse that I
didn't want to get the wig wet and there was no way I would take it off.
But as it happened she had a hair clip I could borrow so putting my hair
up with that, I joined the girls in the Jacuzzi. It was a very unusual
but pleasant experience. I accidentally submerged my wristwatch but
luckily it survived the treatment. |
||
| After a pleasant half hour, I decided I needed to be getting back to my room to prepare for the evening, as I was drying off I spotted Dawn and Elin chatting outside and couldn't resist tapping on the window and waving at them. | ||
After
a shower, shave and moisturise it was time to prepare for the evening.
Nicki had given me a pretty dress that I felt was ideal to go to dinner
in - black with red flowers and just above the knee. So I wore it
combined with the black courts. Things followed a similar pattern to the
previous evening, but this time the tables were filling up even earlier
so Elin and I joined Emma Louise and Nicole on their table. |
||
![]() After
a pleasant meal (full waiter service this time) it was back to the main
function room (which was even fuller than the previous night). No
cabaret this time but the raffle and beauty pageant took up more than
enough time to compensate. Jessica and Sue went off to change into their
red outfits. |
||
Elin
and I decided to skip the pageant and dashed through the rain to our
rooms. I changed into my red top (part of a planned theme for our group
that evening), leatherette mini skirt, knee length black boots and the
belt from the first evening. Back through the rain again and it was time
for dancing and of course a little more chatting. Sarah and I left the
party around 2:30 am as we knew we wanted to get up at a reasonable hour
the next day. |
||
In
my case that reasonable hour was 7:30 am and the reason I was up so
early because Sarah has said that it would be fine for me to travel home
enfemme, whether or not she decided to do so. Of course I couldn't let
such an opportunity pass me by! Firstly I packed as much as possible so
that I wouldn't get hot and bothered after I had dressed. All my new
purchases made that a little more challenging than when I had packed to
come away for the weekend.Then I went through the usual makeup routine.
For the journey home I chose a light blue long sleeved top, my dark blue
pencil skirt (it just HAD to be a skirt this time), suitable tights, the
low heeled pumps and the denim jacket. |
||
| I went in to breakfast and met up with Debbie and Sarah Snow (in guy mode) plus Mike and Ashleigh (also in guy mode). After a hearty breakfast and an enjoyable chat, I was just wondering what to do next when Sarah arrived (also in guy mode). We agreed to meet up at around 11am to load the car. | ||
On
the way back to my room, I saw JJ and Sue loading their car so I chatted
with them and said my goodbyes. Then I went and did my final packing.
Checking the time, I saw I had an hour to spare so I set off for a
little walk around the neighbour hood. Being a Sunday morning there
weren't too many people or much traffic about (not sure if I was happy
or sad about that) but I enjoyed my walk and the toot I got from a
passing lorry driver - as he was approaching me from behind it was
probably due to my tight fitting skirt with the high slit up the back of
it. |
||
It
was still only 10:30 so I thought I'd see if I could visit with Sarah
and Elin (who were room mates for the weekend) as I knew their flat
included a comfortable sitting room and I was craving a little company.
Luckily I was able to get into their building OK (the cleaning staff had
the outer doors open) so I joined them for half an hour whilst they
finished packing and we then had another little chat before concluding
we really should get on our way. Before we set off I asked Sarah to take
a few snaps of me in my "travelling outfit". After loading the
car and handing in our keys, we set off for Sarah's. The journey took
some 2.5-3 hrs as we decided to skip the motorways (there was apparently
an accident of some sort) and headed off into the countryside. |
||
| It's hard for me to explain quite how much
I enjoyed this trip. Certainly I didn't feel in anyway odd about being
out and about dressed as I was. It's a cliché I guess but I'd
have to say it just felt totally natural. Arriving at Sarah's, in
deference to her understandable desire to not raise any questions from
the neighbours, I ducked quickly in doors and made us a pot of tea
whilst she unloaded the car. As we were in no hurry we then spent the
afternoon chatting about the weekend, plans for future trips and various
other topics. The time passed very pleasantly indeed but by 3:30pm I knew it was time to put Wendy away for a while. I strung things out as long as possible by first carefully removing my nail polish (Sarah was getting her extensions of at the same time). Then it was time for me to retire to the bathroom and perform the full reverse transformation. Sarah then dropped me home. So ended a highly enjoyable weekend away. |
