The Cotton Club
	4th October I went to Ashford, Kent again. 'Tom' wasn't able to come out with me this time (see Folkestone Party) as his shifts didn't allow for it.
	Angela, BJ and Claire Tice had arranged a gathering of girls at the The Cotton Club in nearby Charing in Kent. This was Angela's first club trip so I was determined to be there to support her. As before I booked into the Ashford Travel Lodge, ate my evening meal there and then retired to my room to get ready for the evening.
	I had decided that for this outing I would dress against my normal style and wear my smart suit, teamed with a white camisole style top and my new black sling back shoes. As usual there was no problem leaving the hotel dressed. I had been to the club once before (with 'Tom') so I was confident I could drive myself there. In the event I managed to sail past the club but at least I did find it OK in the end!
	The outer bar was rather empty so I headed into the dance floor and the secondary bar. There I found Angela, Patti and Justine. After some chatting I couldn't resist joining the small number of girls that were already on the dance floor. The dance floor is excellent at this club by the way and deserves to be more heavily patronised. Claire eventually materialised, having been getting ready upstairs. She introduced me to her wife who was accompanying her for the first time.
	Angela and I finally found time for a bit of a chat and she introduced me to some more girls, amongst them Cassie. We all hit the dance floor once more, eventually ending up dancing on the stage too! BJ and Marge had also arrived whilst I was dancing so I had a chat with them. Early on I'd noticed one of the girls dancing around in a striking cocktail dress so I was surprised to see her now in a top and skirt combination. I took the opportunity to introduce myself and comment on her change of outfit. Her name was Patsy and she told me she was a regular at the club, even on non-TV nights and that it was always T-friendly.
	She had actually changed her outfit in her car out in the car park. I had to congratulate her as I can't imagine how I would manage that.
	By now my ears needed a bit of a rest (the music being quite loud) and as many of the others had retired to the quieter outer bar for more chatting and some photos!
	Sarah, a TS E-friend of Angela, had arrived having driven up from Portsmouth and she introduced me to her. Sarah and I got on very well , chatting for ages and in the end we were the last two girls away from the club at about 1:30am.
	But I still managed to get to bed by 2am which was quite impressive for me. That was because I had big plans for the next day so I knew I'd need all the sleep I could get.......
