JJ's Party and the Birmingham Fetish Fair
	On 29th July Sarah and I drove up to JJ's to attend her birthday party. We arrived about 4:30 to be greeted by JJ and Sue. JJ's house is full of wonderful contrasts. For the non TV there are all sort of interesting motorbiking and sporting related items in one room. For the TV there is JJ's extensive shoe collection! This includes not just wearable shoes but also a huge variety of shoe shaped ornaments.
	As were the first guests there (after Anne), it gave us a chance to get start getting ready before the 'rush'. Part of the shoe collection is housed in JJ's changing room which is where Sarah and I got ourselves ready, later joined by Dawn and Elin. I started the evening in a gypsy topped dress black dress with red flowers that I bought in Bournemouth but hadn't yet worn, teamed with my low heeled gold sandals (ideal for dancing). I also had teh chance to paint my nails for the first time in quite a while.
	Dawn was experimenting with a new look that evening as you can see in this picture of her with the birthday girl JJ. I managed a lengthy chat with a TS called Joanne who seemed to have had a rather colourful life. Cheryl plus Amanda and wife Julie joined us later. And of course JJ's sisters Julie and Janet were there, encouraging us all to dance till we dropped. JJ's front room had been converted into a disco for this very purpose !
	Although I really liked the dress I was wearing (very soft and feminine) I really wanted to show a little more leg so, later on I changed to a leopard print blouse (which Nicki gave me - she bought for me from a charity shop but she felt it fit me better than her) and pencil skirt and switched my sandals for black patent courts. Sort of a naught office girl on a night out look I guess! The party wound down about 2:30am so after we had all changed, a number of us settled down to sleep on the floor.
	Next morning Sarah and I were up early because Sarah wanted to go to a Fetish fair in Birmingham. JJ had said it was OK to leave her place enfemme. Well of course I jumped at the chance for another daylight outing. I had brought my PVC skirt and silver top but in the end decided that I'd rather wear something slightly more casual. So I wore a new white camisole top I bought at M&S the previous weekend and my denim mini-skirt plus sensible shopping shoes. I got JJ to take a picture of me and Sarah to record our outfits.
	This was the first time I had worn such a short skirt in public in daylight. As it happened there wasn't anyone around as we left JJ's. We loaded up the car and header south to Birmingham. And hour and a half later we arrived and parked a short walk from the club where the fair was being held. As we trotted along the pavement towards the club, two women and a group of three children were coming the other way, stopping to get into the car. One of the children clearly couldn't believe her eyes as she stare wide eyed and open mouthed. I guess wearing a mini skirt isn't a great way to blend in. Of course it may just have been the fact that she was less than 3ft tall and we were nearer 6ft !
	Once in the fair it was clear that this was something rather unusual for me. There were a few other T-girls about in every type of outfit, from PVC to twin set and pearls. There were also quite a few GF's about in very revealing outfits. There were even a few TV's we knew there, girls Sarah knew quite well and that I had met at Blackpool. The stalls were quite a revelation, selling a wide variety of items. Leather and PVC outfits were the stalls I found most interesting. Sadly though the leather outfits were outside the price I was willing to pay and the PVC dresses seemed to be unrealistically sized. I tried a 12,14,16 in the style I liked but couldn't get into any of them !
	After 2 hrs browsing, chatting and having a drink, we headed back to the car and drove back to Sarah's. There we spend a pleasant girlie afternoon. I helped measure Sarah up for a new dress she was having made and dried up a few dishes while she prepared our dinner. Then we had a very pleasant meal and a good chat before I finally changed back (at around 7:30) and headed for home. Another lovely Wendy weekend !
