New Year's Eve 2002

Nicki and I had a lovely New Year's Eve at Elin's. We had travelled down to Bristol earlier in the day and checked into our hotel. Then after I had feminized we walked to the car and drove over to Elin's, an easy 10 minute journey with a challenging final 2 minutes down an unlit single track lane. I was so pleased Elin was OK with this because in the past she hasn't let anyone actually arrive dressed. I guess the fact it was dark put her mind at rest! I wore my new velveteen top (rather darker than I had realised when I bought it) and black skirt combination, teamed with three inch block heeled shoes (in deference to Elin's bare wooden floors) though I did wear sensible heels to actually drive there.
SimoneJessica and SuzeSimone, Dawn and Julie plus Jessica and Suze were already there so Elin was able to start preparing the evenings food. We all had a chat in the meantime, but as soon as the food was ready we headed for it as we were rather hungry.
More chat followed and I managed to convince everyone to take a few pictures, though sadly Nicki and Elin were both camera shy (despite looking lovely).
This was followed by some dancing which I really enjoyed having not been out for over a month.

Around 11pm I could resist no longer so I popped upstairs to change into my little gold and black dress - I needed a bit of glitz to see in the New Year after all !
We saw the New Year in together andNicki even deigned to kiss me, an especial treat as she doesn't like to kiss Wendy really. After another half hour dancing it was time for Nicki and I to drive back to the hotel. This was mainly so that we wouldn't be wiped out the next day for the journey home.
