New Year 2003/2004

This year there were no parties at friends to attend so Nicki and I looked around for an alternative way for a Wendy New Year. Fortunately the Pink Punters club and an event organised. After a few pics at the flat we set off.
New Year's Eve started cold and dry making our trip to Pink Punters quite pleasant. We didn't need to pre book but entry on the door was a bit expensive (£17 for non-members, £12 for members) but a buffet was included. Given we hadn't brought much cash with us it was lucky that I had won the raffle the previous trip! That meant we had a voucher for £20 for drinks, plenty for us two given I don't drink alcohol.
Nicki had kindly picked up, in a charity shop, the ideal sparkly little number for me to wear. So I wasn't exactly dressed sedately whilst she had on her ultra short black dress. I thought we made a really sexy couple. There were plenty of people there though it wasn't packed. We had a dance or two and a long lingering New Year's kiss at midnight before leaving at about 12:30. The music volume was so loud we were starting to go deaf!
The weather had turned to a gale so we got a little damp and rather windswept on the way back to the car and on our walk to the flat but it was still great to be out that night. This was the first time I've been to a club for New Year's Eve. I enjoyed it and hopefully we'll do it again next year.
